'Six Prayers To Renew Your Mind With Truth From Lies'

1.  Unloved

I renounce the lie that I,
Am unloved and God leaves me wanting,
I announce the truth and say,
He loves me with love everlasting

It's just not true that God does not love,
His love is the greatest that can be,
He gave us His only Son,
Eternal life's what he gave to me

John 3:16 NIV

I know that Jesus loves me,
My sins, now atoned, give daily health,
That shows me the measure of,
The true love that He has for myself

1 John 4:10 NIV

2. Abandoned

I renounce the lie I'm abandoned,
Have none who I can confide,
None can put barriers against me,
And Jesus won't leave my side

In no way is it a true statement,
I've none who possibly knows,
God is alongside me at all times,
It will forever be so

3. Rejected

I renounce the lie I'm rejected,
And announce the truth: 'I'm saved',
I believe in Jesus' name,
As God's child I am just and behaved

I can't say I'm unwanted,
The Spirit of Christ is within me,
He who gave resurrection,
Gives life to my self and my body

I'm not rejected but free,
Though it is true that I have to serve,
Like Paul I'm fit and welcome,
And not ruled by laws others observe

4. Inadequate

I renounce the lie I'm deficient,
Not up to the job at all,
Inadequate to meet the measure,
And have no fine words to call

I announce the truth I am able,
Can do the job that's right here,
I go where God commands me to go,
And say what words then appear

I did not ask for any favours,
God favoured me with His choice,
I bear the fruit appointed to me,
Lord God, please say it is so

There's nothing that Christ sets me to do,
By His strength all can be done,
I am ready for the challenges set,
With God I've already won

His grace is sufficient means for me,
The power He gives revealed,
In my weakness and my submission,
Through Christ's teachings I am healed.

5. Hopeless

I renounce the lie that I'm,
Hopeless and my fate is I will fail,
The truth is I'm unified,
A train that is set straight on the rail

I know I am predestined,
According to the plan he's arranged,
Conforming with His purpose,
His objective and His certain reign

In Him I am included,
I say to individuals and all,
The gospel of salvation,
Is a Spirit that lives in my soul

It's true no place can lock me inside,
Jesus gets me through each day,
Doors will open and I will not hide

I'm working and I'm striving,
My hope is for a God all can see,
The liars say it isn't Him,
But I say He's the one who saved me.

6. Stupid

I renounce the lie that I'm stupid,
At the bottom of the class,
Each day I know my mind's transformed,
God's will is the test I pass

The world maintains multiple measures,
It's patterns tell me falsehoods,
I understand every artefact,
God's perfect will figures good

I have the mind of Christ to reason,
He needs no books or teaching,
Who sets themselves the reckoners of,
The true and almighty king?

As a child I was not enlightened,
It is true I was not wise,
God called me to be a man,
And gave me what the wisest men prize

I announce the real truth that I am,
Talented exceedingly,
Jesus cannot fault my reasoning,
