Week 10: What Next?

What will be my next steps,
Now freedom is in sight?
Days are bright ahead now,
Not long until the flight

Love is what is needed,
A pure heart is what's here,
Add to a good conscience,
Combined with faith sincere

Forwards facing freedom,
Doors open with no locks,
I was God's selection,
A chocolate in a box

Fruits will come from naming,
Jesus at every call,
Whatever I request,
Know God will service all

Success will be assured,
My sights all set for good,
Divinely I am called,
By power understood

The promises are plenty,
The route set by cold fires,
Free of all corruption,
Not by earthly desires

My faith is a foundation,
With goodness overlaid,
Covered in a knowledge,
Controlled by a soul saved

I'll make perseverance,
An attic set above,
Sanctified ambitions,
Bound in mutual love

Then as days turn circle,
With all pure goals in place,
Qualities will deepen,
And I'll know Jesus face

Journeys justly precious,
Each day will be well spent,
The Lord won't forsake me,
I'll be because it's meant

I won't be forgotten,
An etching on His hands,
Going through His doorway,
Heaven is where I'll land

All of my fulfilment,
Will come from serving them,
Eating doing God's work,
I'll flower from His stem

Whatever gifts I have,
I'll use with a good face,
By serving those in need,
A steward of God's grace

Seeking satisfaction,
I'll hunger for what's right,
Quenched by endless fountains,
No thirst or clouds in sight

Next, finding happiness,
I'll keep an empty shelf,
Content with stores of nought,
Just drink and bread and health

Each day will be fulfilled,
The game I win each rise,
Not spent pleasing others,
It's God who gives the ayes

To find where I'm safest,
Secure in all my needs,
Live a life eternal,
Persist with holy deeds

Focusing on safety,
Sat in my Father's hand,
Clutched tight by my Saviour,
Within the promised land

Where can there be a break?
What force can prize apart?
No famine nor danger,
Can make my hatred start

Each day there on waking,
Death stalks round every bend,
Marked for pagan slaughter,
Stay out the flock that's penned

No angels nor demons,
Not here or days ahead,
Nought in all creation,
Can break or stop my stead

With eternal values,
I'll flourish and I'll grow,
Without separation,
When Jesus loves me so

I'll find peace by calming,
The inner storm in me,
He calls every moment,
The Prince of Peace is He

He left a precious prize,
A gift not under sun,
My heart will never skip,
I'll never fear nor run

I'll need perseverance,
By sufferings I'll know,
The goal will be sweeter,
A stronger man will grow

Joy will come from kinsmen,
With trials we will share,
Faith will be sore tested,
But I'll not lack or care

Now it is the first day,
I live in Christ today,
Death will be my handful,
A boon for which I pray

Step into the future,
Know God has plans for me,
Prosper and not falter,
Rich days ahead I'll see.
